Locally owned and operated in the old Woodland Daily Democrat print press room, Blue Note Brewing Company has been named the best brewery in Yolo County every year since its founding in 2015.
A 6 barrel system ensures that every Blue Note beer is literally hand-crafted. Each beer is tested before it is kegged to make sure the Woodland community gets the freshest beer possible. They have at least 10 taps every day, including their mosaic “Hopamine” Pale Ale, unfiltered “9 Lives” IPA, German style “Heidi” Kolsch which was awarded 1st Place at the 2017 California State Fair, “Lucille” Oatmeal Stout, and Northeast “Hazzah” IPA. Blue Note will begin canning its beer in 2018, a “game changer” for the company.
